Leisure Manager

he Spa Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Leisure Club Manager to join their expanding and highly successful Spa and Leisure team. The Spa/Leisure Club offers the very highest standards in luxurious and relaxing spa experiences, with an extensive treatment menu, also within the club is a 10m pool, sauna, steam room, two gymnasiums with high tech Precor equipment and a tennis court.

Responsibilities

  • Overall operational responsibility and accountability for the running club
  • Good operational, financial and commercial knowledge
  • Excellent technical and operational knowledge, and takes full ownership for the day-to-day operational tasks
  • Manages and oversees club activity
  • Good understanding of Profit and Loss Accounts
  • Ensure the standards are maintained to a high level
  • Clear understanding of the health and safety policies
  • Leads, motivates and engages with the team
  • Basic IT Knowledge including Microsoft Office, Premiere core
  • Personal Training for clients
  • Swimming Pool operations
  • Maintenance & Cleanliness of the facilities
  • Phone handling
  • Managing memberships

About You

  • Personal Training / Fitness instructor qualified
  • Reception or reservation experience within a hospitality or leisure environment in desirable
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Passionate about creating the very best guest experience, – customer service will be at the forefront of your mind at all times. Warm and welcoming to our Leisure Club Members, Hotel residents and Spa guests.
  • You’ll bring enthusiasm, experience, organisation skills and strong team working spirit to the role here at The Spa.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills, professional attitude and be highly pro-active and self-motivated.
  • Proficient with the use of computer booking systems and Microsoft Word/Outlook email (training will be provided)

Hotel Receptionist

The Spa Hotel is a four star, family run, 70 bedroom hotel situated in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

We are looking to appoint a Receptionist to help assist in the running of our busy Hotel Reception. This is a full time position working 5 days out of 7 including some weekends on a rotational basis, and shift patterns vary and are usually early or late.

  • Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the reception desk.
  • Welcoming guests with a friendly face at all times and checking them in and out of the hotel
  • First point of contact for all enquiries via telephone, email and face to face.
  • Processing room reservations into the hotel system.
  • Liaison with all other internal departments, distributing calls etc.
  • Handling customer feedback/complaints as required.

The chosen candidate must display a strong work ethic, be a team player with a genuine passion for offering 5 star customer service.

Whilst previous experience is advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be given.

Beauty Therapist

We are looking for a qualified Beauty Therapist to join our team in SpaSpa on a Full Time basis.

SpaSpa in The Spa Hotel offers the very highest standards in luxurious and relaxing spa experiences, with an extensive menu of professional ESPA, Aromatherapy Associates, Shellac, Guinot and signature treatments.

About the Position:

We are looking for a friendly, dedicated and highly professional therapist with a genuine passion for offering 5 star client service and exceptional treatments.

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 Beauty Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Friendly, dedicated and committed mind-set
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Experience within a busy or high performing salon environment
  • Confidence in your ability to provide a range of treatments

The following are desirable requirements:

Experience with any of our product offerings, Aromatherapy Associates, ESPA, Shellac, Guinot (but not essential). Experience within a Spa environment would be an advantage (but not essential).

Room Attendant / Linen Porter

The Spa is a 70 bedroom family run 4 star hotel situated in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

We are looking to appoint a full time Room Attendant/Linen Porter to work within our busy Housekeeping department. Duties will include cleaning bedrooms and public areas of the hotel, ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard for our guests and assisting with the distribution of linen around the hotel. This is a physically demanding job and the successful applicant should be fit and capable of lifting / carrying heavy items. This is a full time position working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rotational basis. Usual hours of work are 7:00am until 3:30pm however may vary.

Previous experience is welcomed but not essential as full training will be given.

Food and Beverage Assistant

We are looking to recruit a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant to join our front of house team in our busy Bar & Brasserie. You’ll be serving food and drinks to customers and ensuring the brasserie is well presented at all time.

The successful applicant will ideally have relevant waiting experience and must demonstrate a passion and understanding for good service. You will be dedicated, a team player, have excellent customer service sills and work well under pressure.

The successful applicant will be required to work varied shifts covering lunch and dinner service and will include some split shifts and weekends.

General Assistant

We are looking to recruit a full-time General Assistant to help our Front of House team across our Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring they are set and cleared to a high standard, serving food and drinks, and welcoming guests within our brasserie, lobby, restaurant and also at events.

The successful applicant will ideally have relevant previous experience in a front of house position and must demonstrate a passion for good service. This is a full-time role working 5 days over a 7 day rota including evenings and weekends.
