Company Overview:

The Spa Hotel is a family run, 4-star hotel with 70 bedrooms and a beautiful Spa. With 8 event spaces, a beautiful outside wedding temple and 14 acres of stunning grounds our hotel is always busy with a variety of guests.

The Role:

You will be an integral part of the Food and Beverage team overseeing the running of the hotels champagne bar serving a wide selection of drinks and developing a fresh cocktail menu. You will be joining our team of 7 people to provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our guests staying in the hotel and local residents that join us.

You will be responsible to maintaining a tidy and clean workspace and presentation is key. You need to work well as part of a team and be comfortable to work alone behind the bar also. Our team is friendly and approachable, and we are looking for a likeminded individual to join us.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating a warm and welcoming environment, being aware of music and lighting.
• To provide a high standard of customer service greeting guests on arrival
• Prepare the bar for service in a timely manner, ensuring all mandatory Health and safety protocols are met.
• Over see the team as they assist on the bar, contributing to training and development
• Making and delivering drinks with a good eye for presentation
• Adhere to our hygiene and health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all service areas are kept in good working order, ready for you and any team members that are working.
• Restocking the bar and cleaning down at the end of your shift
• Good communication with your direct line manager and managers on duty

Knowledge and Experience

Previous experience in a similar bar role and knowledge of wines and cocktails is essential.

You must be able to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail, be willing to learn new skills and have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers as well as members of the team.

You must be energetic and have a positive attitude with a passion for creating memorable drinks and love working as part of a dynamic and lively team.
