Chef De Partie (Full and Part Time Available)
Full time – 48 Hours per week, shifts could include doubles, split shifts and half days
The Role
You will be an integral part of our experienced team of 12 providing seasonal cuisine to our 2 Rosette restaurant. Assisting our Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare fresh, local ingredients for our wide range of menus from breakfast, lunch and dinner to afternoon tea, buffets, and exquisite 4-course dining options for events.
A key part of this role will involve working alongside our Pastry Chef, supporting pastry preparation and presentation, and demonstrating a genuine passion for pastry. You will have the opportunity to cover all sections of the kitchen, manage stock levels, ordering, staff management, and ensure all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
Your skills will quickly be put to the test, and the opportunity to learn is endless with expert training from our Head Chef and Head Pastry Chef. As Chef de Partie, you will pride yourself on all dishes coming out of your section.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of fresh ingredients and delivering perfect presentation
- Working alongside the Head Pastry Chef to produce high-quality pastry items
- Complying with Health and Safety procedures and maintaining an immaculate working area
- Being responsible for your section and offering guidance and support to commis chefs
- Working to strict time schedules
- Being fully aware of all dietary requirements and ingredients of our meals
- Maintaining clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments
- Assisting in monitoring food stock levels
- Ensuring costs are kept within the agreed budget and notifying the Head Chef when issues arise
- Supporting the Front of House team with food knowledge
Knowledge and Experience
We are looking for someone with a passion for food and pastry, eager to learn and push themselves as a Chef de Partie. You should be a real team player with a hands-on approach and excellent organisational skills. You must be able to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

The Spa Hotel is an independent 4-star hotel with 70 bedrooms and a beautiful Spa. With 8 event spaces, a stunning outdoor wedding temple, and 14 acres of grounds, our hotel is always busy with a variety of guests.
Wedding and Events Coordinator
The Role
You will be an integral part of a very fast paced events department, coordinating numerous Weddings, Conferences and Events across 8 function spaces in a team of three people. Our events can vary from a meeting of two guests to a wedding of up to 300. This is a particularly varied role covering all levels of event coordination; you will be expected to coordinate your own events from enquiry through to event departure. This is an office based role however you will work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth execution of each event.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrating good knowledge of the hotel, its spaces and event packages
- Receiving, handling and converting wedding, meeting, events and some group enquiries via telephone and email
- Planning events working closely with a variety of clients
- Carrying out show rounds and sales appointments
- Preparing in-depth quotes for Meetings and Events of all sizes
- Completing event administration to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Issuing detailed event sheets with clear and concise information which is easy for the operational staff to follow
- Typing and issuing invoices, taking payments securely for deposits and bills over the phone and updating our system accordingly
- Encouraging repeat business as a result of exemplary customer service and enquiry handling
- Identifying new clients and ways in which to increase revenue in the department
- Communicating effectively with all departments in the hotel
- Following up with all enquiries to increase booking conversions
- Assisting the operations team for big events and wedding
Knowledge and Experience
Previous experience in the hospitality and hotel industry within an events role is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of Rezlynx, Microsoft office and Secure trading is preferable.
You must be able to work well under pressure with a strong attention to detail, meet deadlines and achieve targets, whilst offering the very highest level of customer service.
You must be determined and driven to ensure the business and department excels itself. We are looking for a team player, someone who is computer literate and have excellent communication skills.

Receptionist
The Role We are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy reception team. You will be the first and last point of contact for all our guests so to be welcoming, approachable and well-presented is essential. With 70 bedrooms occupied almost daily, efficient check ins and outs are a priority as well as being knowledgeable in all areas of the hotel and local area to assist with any guest queries. You will also manage the switchboard and assist with bedroom reservations. You will work closely with all hotel departments and be responsible for payments and invoicing for all bedrooms. Working 5 days out of 7 on a rotational basis and the shift pattern does vary.
Shifts Include 06.30-15.00 & 15.00 – 23.00
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming guests with a friendly face at all times and checking them in and out of the hotel
- Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the reception desk by following the sifts operating procedures
- First point of contact for all guest enquiries via telephone, email and face to face. Processing room reservations into the hotel system.
- Activate and reissue room keys
- Liaising with all departments including the management team
- Handling customer feedback/complaints as required.
- Creating invoices taking payments and updating the system
- Delivering pre-arranged welcome plates to guest bedrooms
- Knowledge and Experience Previous experience on Reception or in the hotel industry is desirable but not essential.
- You must be passionate about customer service and work well under pressure whilst paying close attention to detail.

Breakfast Chef
Are you passionate about food and love an early start? We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure and has a keen eye for detail. We’re seeking a team player with a hands-on approach and excellent organisational skills.
About the role
Join our experienced team of 10 as an integral part of our breakfast service, leading the way 5 days a week, including weekends. You’ll be providing hot plated breakfasts to order with fresh local ingredients for our 2 rosette restaurant and private dining rooms. As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll ensure all preparation is met for the continental buffet and hot plated items, maintaining our high standards of food presentation. After service, you’ll assist our Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing fresh, local ingredients for our busy lunch service.
Hours: 30 hours a week
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (3 days a week) and 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
