Breakfast Chef
Job Description:
Are you passionate about food and love an early start? We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure and has a keen eye for detail. We’re seeking a team player with a hands-on approach and excellent organisational skills.
Hours: 30 hours a week
Shifts: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (3 days a week) and 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh ingredients for both continental and hot breakfasts, ensuring perfect presentation.
- Complete advance preparation for the next breakfast service where practical.
- Be fully aware of all dietary requirements and ingredients in our meals.
- Comply with Health and Safety procedures and maintain an immaculate working area.
- Work to strict time schedules.
- Clean down your section at the end of your shift.
- Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other Departments.
- Assist in monitoring food stock levels.
- Ensure all costs are kept within the agreed budget and notify the Head Chef when necessary.
About the role
Join our experienced team of 10 as an integral part of our breakfast service, leading the way 5 days a week, including weekends. You’ll be providing hot plated breakfasts to order with fresh local ingredients for our 2 rosette restaurant and private dining rooms. As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll ensure all preparation is met for the continental buffet and hot plated items, maintaining our high standards of food presentation. After service, you’ll assist our Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing fresh, local ingredients for our busy lunch service.
