The Grounds

As befits an 18th century mansion, The Spa Hotel is blessed with 14 acres of glorious gardens, which offer colour and interest in every season of the year. Guests may enjoy a gentle morning stroll around the lakes, or early evening cocktails on the well kept lawns. For the more energetic there is a floodlit tennis court and a half-mile jogging trail.

The award winning Dining Room's service is discreet, friendly and attentive. Lunch and dinner menus, prepared by our Head Chef, offer Modern English Cuisine, complemented by a carefully selected wine list.

The Victorian Lounge and Zagatos Bar both offer a full range of traditional beers and house wines and the carefully chosen Light Lunch Menu offers guests a choice of traditional dinner and light snacks or enjoy a traditional afternoon tea which includes freshly made sandwiches, scones and cakes, complemented by a choice of teas.

Private Functions

A choice of seven unique dining rooms allows you to host a small dinner party from four guests, to a large banquet for up to 220. The Spa is renowned for its hospitality for lunches, wedding receptions, gala balls and dinner dances.

Each of the sixty-nine bedrooms is attractively appointed, with all the facilities you might expect from a luxury 4 star hotel. Most have views over the grounds and we can offer four poster beds and executive suites in addition to standard single and double rooms. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, using your laptop.

We have special corporate rates and can provide seven easily accessible rooms complete with comprehensive audio-visual equipment and capacity for up to 300 delegates.

Room Details

The Boardroom on the ground floor overlooking the lawns at the back of the hotel, can cater for up to ten guests for a private lunch or dinner party.

The Ashdown Room, opposite The Boardroom, is suitable for larger numbers up to sixteen people seated at one table, or an informal reception for twenty.

The Churchill Room is located on the first floor with views across the grounds at the back of the hotel.

The Yorke Suite is an extremely versatile private dining room, with its own bar area, dance floor, air conditioning, subtle lighting and nearby cloakroom facilities.

The Queens Room offers a large oak bar and dining facilities for up to forty-eight guests.

The Kings Room, with permanent dance floor and a stage area with spotlights, has direct access to the lawns and grounds at the back of the hotel.

The Royal Suite is created by opening up the Queens Room and the Kings Room.

This exclusive private club is located in a bright, modern purpose built extension to Tunbridge Wells' best established hotel, set in its own delightful gardens of fourteen acres. Few health clubs have such convenient and attractive surroundings.

The friendly, yet professional atmosphere, combined with highly skilled Beauty Therapists who pander to your every need, will entice you to return time and time again, whether it be purely for treatments or for a short break to enjoy the other luxuries The Spa Hotel has to offer. We have three treatment rooms open seven days a week and four late nights until 9pm.

Spa Gifts

Gift Vouchers are available to purchase from The Spa Beauty Reception or by telephone. They can be purchased for individual treatment’s, packages or monetary value. Gift Vouchers are valid for twelve months from date of purchase. 

Weddings

The Spa Hotel is especially popular for weddings, accommodating both the ceremony itself and the most luxurious of receptions. Able to accommodate up to 250 guests, our friendly and professional staff can guide you through that perfect day. Honeymoon programmes include four-poster suites, champagne, fruit and flowers. We also have specially negotiated room rates for our wedding guests.
